Installing Work:
This sunday is your last chance to reserve a studio space for the opening. You can reserve one at the gatehouse at 3 p.m. If you are working in your studio make sure all your work is set up by wednesday morning. After that, all the blank walls will be filled up with other people’s art work, ***unless you leave a note or specify otherwise.
If you want to put work up but don’t want a studio space, you can put any type of work up in the basement areas right before the entrances to the studios. Lighting will be provided the day of the opening. All you have to do is hang your own work and remember to make yourself a name tag to put by your work. You can start putting your work up this sunday. All work in this space should be installed by wednesday night.
If you want to put work up and don’t have a studio space, and there’s no room in the basement space outside the studio areas you are welcome to put your work up in the spaces that are left blank in all of the studio spaces on wednesday night and thursday during the day time. Remember to be respectful of other people’s work, if your work doesn’t make logical sense in the space that you want to put it, then don’t put it there.
Studio’s For Non-Commons Freshmen:
Drawing studios #13 and #15 are reserved for you to put up your work. Talk to each other and figure out what you want to do/who uses the space.
**Don’t forget to make yourself a name tag so we can credit you for your art!
